Default adding SQL2005 to an Existing SQL 200 cluster - 09-02-2008 , 01:31 PM

from all the documentation i have read, i would need a separate set of
volumes to add a SQL2005 clustered instance to my clustered 2000 instance.
This seems rediculous, that i can't use the current volumes for this new
instance. Any comments????

You cannot use a volume for more than one instance. Each instance requires
a separate resource group. This is by design so that one instance cannot
affect another instance.
