Default Adding failed node - 06-11-2004 , 06:17 AM

After a hardware failure , I'm trying to restore a SQL 2000 Cluster
Node(SP3 - Active/Active). I used HP Data Protector for my disaster recovery
procedure, so I restored the node. After that, everything works fine with
MSCS and Physical disks, Ip address, Network names switch from one node to
the other. But when I try to switch SQL Server Resource, it fails. Event Log
says that Instance XXX cannot find the path specified. Any idea about that ?

I'm also trying to uninstall SQL Server from the failed node using SQL
Server Installation Wizard following BOL instruction, but when I choose
Virtual Server and I write the name of the server, the wizard says that "The
name you entered already exists on the network". If I try with the Virtual
Server Name, the wizard says that "Another Virtual Server of the same name
exists on the network". What should I do ?

Thanks for help
Gianluca
