Hi I´ve got a 64 and a 32 bit box sqlsrv 2000 - 2 locations 60 m apart How do I disaster secure the master(64 bit) sqlserver by replication - can you do that with 32 bit and 64 or by log shipping - can you do that??? -- Birger |

Log shipping to set up a standby server is probably your best bet. Replication just won't meet your needs as an availability strategy to populate a stand-by site. Yes, you can log ship between the 32 and 64 bit SQL. The on-disk structures are identical. -- Geoff N.
