Default where is the client browser for SQLServer 2005? - 08-20-2008 , 10:22 AM

I just installed SQL Server 2005 Developer edition and a client
browser is not installed. 2003 came with a brower and a sample
database. Is there something else I need to install or is there no
client browser for 2005?

thanks for the help

john

What exactly do you mean by a Client Browser? Are you referring to Query
Analyzer in SQL 2000? IN 2005 you have the Query Editor that is found in
SQL Server Management Studio or SSMS. These are the client tools and you
need to check that during setup to have them installed. And by the way
there was no SQL 2003.
