Default uninstall SQL Server Enterprise Manager Client - 07-07-2008 , 02:40 PM

I have PC that, when I migrated from an older PC, the SQL Enterprise
Manager client "came along" during the standard MS migration process. Now,
however, it does not function.

I am attempting to remove it, so I can start over, but apparently, there is
no UNINSTALL option, nor is it listed in Control Panel, Add Remove Programs
(that I can see, anyway).

Anyone have ANY idea how to uninstall an older version? Installing over the
top does not seem to work, either.

THanks for any pointers!

I don't know any way to just uninstall Enterprise Manager without touching
any other SQL2000 pieces (if that's what you wanted to do). But there should
be a SQL Server 2000 entry in the Add/Remove Program list that you can select
to uninstall SQL Server 2000. Is it not there?

You can also take a look at this KB article on how to manually remove a
SQL2000 instance.
