Thanks for the reply Mohit, Where would I find the install log files please? Cheers, @ "Mohit K. Really a inconvient when installing SQL Server products on the computer. At least it has been for me so far; I would try to install the product with the UAC turned off and install it as Local Administrator to see the results. When installing SQL Server 2005; did you by any chance install SP2? Either way I would look at the install logs to see if some components were missed or not installed at all. SQL Install can come back successful; but the some components could still have been missed. Sorry I am dealing with that right with Microsoft; I still don't have a solution to it... -- Mohit K. I've had a long running problem with SQLserver 2005 (Standard, Developers and Express). Come to try and import again, and get the same problem. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr............!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!! I'm running Vista Ultimate if that makes any difference. I would greatly appreciate any assistance at all. Cheers, @ndyB |
