Default SQL Server on workgroup ! - 02-22-2007 , 02:32 PM

I have two servers ServerA and ServerB, both are on the workgroup, I don't
wanna install domain controller, I have installed SQL Server 2000 on ServerA
and now I want to add windows account of ServerB into SQL Server (ServerA)
like ServerB\UserName? but it gave me an error.

I am wondering is there any way I can do that?

Thanks

You won't get that working with the domain prefix. What you
can do though is create the same accounts with the same
passwords on ServerA for the accounts on ServerB. That's
about as close as you can get in that scenario.
