Default Sql client 2000 connecting to Sql Server 2005 - 04-19-2007 , 12:20 PM

Is it possible to connect to a Sql Server 2005 with Sql Client 2000? We have
a piece of software that only communicates with the 2000 client but would
like to use sql server 2005.

Thanks,
Geoff.

Hello,

You could use Query Analyzer or OSQL to connect to SQL Server 2005;
Enterprise manager will not support SQL 2005.

Thanks
Hari
