Alias's are registry entries so you can import them and even write a batch
files if you wish.

Is there a way to script an Alias in Configuration Manager on the client
machines. I do not want to go to each client and point and click. I
would
like to make the Alias with a script. I am using SQL 2000 and 20005 64
bit.
Clients are using XP Pro latest Service packs and patches as of
03/03/2008.
