Default Port Listening, - 09-06-2007 , 01:36 AM

Dear professional.

In the ErrorLog file I can see following two entries

2007-09-06 12:01:04.23 Server Server is listening on [ 'any' <ipv4>
1054].
2007-09-06 12:01:04.25 Server Server is listening on [ 'any' <ipv4>
1055].

Is that means the SQL Server 2005 listen dynamic port? how I fixed the Port
for SQL Server 2005 so that in the Alias I can fixed that specific port,
please advice,

The other thing I can connect SQL Server 2005 from SQL Server Management
Studio from XP box but when I tried to connect to 2003 O/s Server box, it
gave me following error.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When
connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that
