Try applying the latest service pack on the PC where you get
this error. Service Pack 2 is the latest service pack for
SQL Server 2005.

Hi Tarek,

Try capturing a SQL Profiler trace so that you can see what Management
Studio is sending to SQL Server when you try doing this.

I tried the profiler and did not see something wrong, what event should I catch?
is this because of the SP2?
Please help

I don't know what else to tell you. If this is SQL 2005
tables you are trying to open, check the compatibility level
of the database, try running a trace to see where the error
may be.
Double check and make sure the client has SP 2 applied, not
just the server.

Hi Tarek,

I would really suggest that you open a case with PSS. Remember that if
the issue really is a bug, which to me it seems to be, you will not be
charged.
