Default New install on client side - 11-06-2006 , 01:56 PM

Hi,

I have a SQLServer 2005 Enterprise Edition installed on a server running
w2003. I'd like to install the Business Intelligence Development Studio to
control the server on a xp machine. How do I do it? The CD forces me to
install the engine on the xp but I don't need it.

TIA,

Ana

After the prerequisites and configuration check, the next
screen you select the components to be installed. On this
screen, you should have a check in the Workstation
Components and nothing else checked. Then run through the
rest of the installation.
