Hi I wanted to know the steps to install the report designer...
I have the foll. installed on my machine
ASP.NET 1.1
Version > SQL Server 2000 SP3a
Visual Studio .NET 2003
Windows XP OS
i WANT TO USE THE REPORT DESIGNER ON THE CLIENT TO DESIGN REPORTS THAT COME
INTEGRATED WITH THE IDE itself...
Any help would be appreciated..

OK, for just designing report you don“t need any WebServer, but are the
details for a common configuration

Client:
-Install VS
-Install Reporting Services extensions (on the RS cd)

Now you can design reports at the clients.

If you want to deploy them on a self instalelled server:

-Install SQL Server 2000
-Install .NET FW 1.1
-Add Windows Software --> IIS
-Install Reporting Services as a service (from the RS cd)
