Default connection failed errors trying to set up a ODBC connection - 08-07-2008 , 08:02 PM

I get connection failed errors trying to set up a ODBC connection (On XP !
SQL Server 2005 !) ( I have S.M. Studio Express running, so it's there)

I get error 2 and 17

Does this really work, or is it all MS pretending they have a product again
? Back to
PHP and MYSQL or should I carry on ?

That isn't much information to go on. How exactly are you trying to setup a
connection and what is "S.M. Studio Express"? SQL Server 2005 has been out
for several years now and hundreds of thousands of people connect every day
to it so I don't think MS is pretending anything.
