Default Automate eport header with list box criteria - 11-19-2008 , 06:56 PM

Please let me know if there's a more appropriate forum to post this question.

I am automating a MS Access report header to display a report caption based
on choices the user selects on a form. (The user enters their criteria
choices on a form; these choices are passed to a query; the query populates
the report). I want the report caption/header to display those choices (date
ranges, etc) so the user can see which criteria were used to populate the
report.

I can display most criteria on the report using:
unbound txtbox control source:
=[Forms]![formname]![cboCriteria1]

This method succesfully displays the choices made using combo boxes and text
boxes. But it does not work for criteria selected from a list box. No error
appears in te unbound txt box. It's just blank. Stubbornly refusing to
display the criteria...

Thanks in advance for any guidance you can give.

Hi Adrianne,
Thank you for using Microsoft TechNet Managed Newsgroup.

Did you try "=[Forms]![formname]![cboCriteria1].Value" to read the selected value of your List Box?

Regarding the question you asked, it is an Access development issue. So far, we do not provide official support for Access in TechNet Managed Newsgroup. Please refer to:
