In the ODBC have you tried selecting the 'other' server? -- Read my book reviews at: www.ITBookworm.com Blog Author of: Database Underground -- http://weblog.infoworld.com/dbunderground/ DBA Rant - http://dbarant.blogspot.com "Absolutely" wrote: Getting the subject event in the event viewer when trying to connect to a SQL2005 database from a workstation. My other workstations are not having this problem, so I'm sure it's related to this machine, but just can't figure it out. It's an XP Pro SP2 machine. Protocol is TCP/IP. Can make ODBC connection to the server without issue. Other thing that is interesting is that when creating an ODBC connection the SQL server shows up twice in the listing when selecting the server to connect to. None of the other machines that work are doing this. The specific application in question is GoldMine Premium Edition. |
