=========== BACKUP YOUR DATA! =============
As always, backup your data before
upgrading. If the upgrade leads to a higher
minor revision (e.g. 7.3.x -> 7.4), a dump
and restore of all databases is
required. This is *NOT* done by the port!

Press ctrl-C *now* if you need to pg_dump.

Please report the problem to girgen (AT) FreeBSD (DOT) org [maintainer] and attach
the
"/usr/ports/databases/postgresql80-client/work/postgresql-8.0.3/config.log"
including the output of the failure of your make command. Also, it might
be
a good idea to provide an overview of all packages installed on your
system
(e.g. an `ls /var/db/pkg`).

If you meant to cross compile, use `--host'.

Looks like your system (or your $CC) is busted. Perhaps config.log has
more information; it doesn't seem a PostgreSQL-specific problem.
