Default [BUGS] Bug in functions returning setof where table has dropped column - 05-04-2004 , 12:23 AM

OS and Version : Windows 2003 / Cygwin, postgresql 7.4.1

Function returns error message:

ERROR: query-specified return row and actual function
return row do not match

when running a 'setof' function where a table has a
dropped column.

Not sure if this has been reported previously. A better
description than I could write can be found here:

http://groups.google.co.uk/groups?hl...oogle%2BSearch

Apart from OS, my experience was exactly as described
in above link, though it was clear if a bug had been
reported.

TIP 2: you can get off all lists at once with the unregister command
(send "unregister YourEmailAddressHere" to majordomo (AT) postgresql (DOT) org)
