Default pending patches - 02-07-2006 , 03:54 PM

Hi,

Warren... are you keeping all the pending patches that are waiting for
version 3.0? It would be a shame if any of them were lost.

Yes. I keep all email on this account. They're in the mailing list
archive, too, for that matter.

Oops, that's true.

I'm pondering opening an experimental tree in SVN just to catch all these
patches... not sure what I'd be signing myself up for though. :-)

The thing to do is to get 2.1 out of the way so we can move on to 3.0.

That's not how the patches are working out in practicality though. They
are coming as a result of real issues that people are fixing themselves,
and then don't end up in the release.

That's sort of unfortunate.

I believe I've now applied all pending patches that can go into 2.x,
with the exception of your packarray stuff.

So first, is packarray in a state where it can go into the alpha?

Second, the only pending patches I'm aware of that need to wait for v3.0
are Waba's nullable SSQLS fields one, and Richard Forrest's wish for
Boost::iterator compatible Result::iterators. Is there anything else
that you're anxious to see applied?
