The first release candidate of v2.0.0 is ready. There aren't any new
features in this version, just cleanups, new platform support, fixes, etc.

As far as I'm concerned, this is "last call" for comments. I intend to
release v2.0.0 final in about a week if nobody has serious issues with
this. I think it's ready for use in real environments...I've been
deploying it already myself.
