Default DBD-mysql-2.9002 installation problem - 08-15-2003 , 05:54 AM

Hello,

I'm trying to install DBD-mysql-2.9002 on Linux/RedHat9 and ran into some
trouble when I did 'make'.

This is the message that's displayed:

cc -c -I/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/i686-linux/auto/DBI
-I/usr/local/mysql/include/mysql -fno-strict-aliasing -D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE
-D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -I/usr/include/gdbm -O3 -DVERSION=\"2.9002\"
-DXS_VERSION=\"2.9002\" -fpic
"-I/usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.0/i686-linux/CORE" dbdimp.c
cc -c -I/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/i686-linux/auto/DBI
-I/usr/local/mysql/include/mysql -fno-strict-aliasing -D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE
-D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -I/usr/include/gdbm -O3 -DVERSION=\"2.9002\"
-DXS_VERSION=\"2.9002\" -fpic
"-I/usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.0/i686-linux/CORE" mysql.c
Running Mkbootstrap for DBD::mysql ()
chmod 644 mysql.bs
rm -f blib/arch/auto/DBD/mysql/mysql.so
LD_RUN_PATH="/usr/lib/mysql:/usr/local/lib:/lib" /usr/local/bin/perl myld
cc -shared -L/usr/local/lib dbdimp.o mysql.o -o
blib/arch/auto/DBD/mysql/mysql.so -L/usr/lib/mysql -lmysqlclient -lz
-lcrypt -lnsl -lm
make: *** [blib/arch/auto/DBD/mysql/mysql.so] Error 1

Would someone please be able to help me with a solution/identify the
problem?? I don't know if I'm providing enough information? Please ask if
more is needed?

Thanks in advance!

Anelda
