Hi all, I am trying to install db2 verin 9.5 in an AIX lpar 5300-08. The db2setup crashes my putty session, if I try exec ./db2setup. even though I have set the DISPLAY variable as recommended in the Install guide. Also when simply run as ./db2setup I get the error message 0403-006 Execute permission denied Any ideas where the problem may lie ? thanks Dave Evans |

I think it is possible since 9.5 to install without root, but take a look at the information center: https://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infoc...v9r5/index.jsp Michael |
