Hi,

Yesterday I was stopping db2 subsystem (v7 on os/390) and I was waiting
about half an hour for closing dbm1 adress space.

Have You ever met with situation like this.

I feel that the problem was in retaining by db2 opened tablespaces and
indexes or maybe in externalization of bufferpools, but I'm not sure.

Hi

You are right. In our installation we have parameter DDCONS in
parmlib(SMFPRMxx) set to value YES instead No. Probably this is the
source of my problem with shutdown db2.
