Ok any advise would be great >> looking to set-up a database on the
web.
The basic premise is a user accesses a secure web page > fills in
data to a standard form which is given a unique code/ primary key
(visible to user for reference) data is saved to the database. Data
can be retrieved is can be changed and re-saved. & a bit of reporting
on the data saved would be good.

Volumes of data > sets of 250 characters X 10,000 max. If volumes get
larger a new database could be built if required.

Ok now I am a small developer and have built the website myself and
don't know which database road to go down.
Access? Visual Fox Pro ? Dbase? MSSQL ? SQL ? ( all r supported by
web hosting Co so one of these I suppose)


Any advise would be great !! Including rough price guides if anyone
has any experience in something similar.
