Problem with Office 98: Excel

I am trying to use the "conditional format" feature in one of my
spreadsheets.
I have applied three conditions to a column and the first two I had no
problem formating them, but when I go to format the third condition,
when I select a color the program shuts down.

HELP!

You'll have to ask this in an Excel group. Excel isn't a database.
