Hi all,

I 'm looking for an application in which we can enter a problem and
attach certain properties to it. We should be able to filter on all of
the properties. Someone has an idea of an application that can do this?

I did a quick GOOGLE web search and found lots of hits. Surprisingly
only one sponsored link. I really expected more. Also a post in the
software engineering group: comp.software-eng may provide more leads
and personal reccommendations.

I've used home grown systems and a few commercial ones. Currently the
one I have to use at work is called HEAT. It actually calls itself a
call tracking system, since problems are first entered by the help desk
call center. Personally, I think HEAT might be good, but it is not used
to its full power here. (too many problems are misclassified).
