Default larger database : Mysql or postgresql - 06-04-2006 , 08:57 AM

Ive seen on the postgresql website some limits, which may even be able
to worked around
Karl Lehenbauer from www.flightaware.com mentions in a interview that
he has extended the limits.
http://cisx1.uma.maine.edu/~wbackman...bsdtalk042.mp3

Limit Value
Maximum Database Size Unlimited
Maximum Table Size 32 TB
Maximum Row Size 1.6 TB
Maximum Field Size 1 GB
Maximum Rows per Table Unlimited
Maximum Columns per Table 250 - 1600 depending on column types
Maximum Indexes per Table Unlimited

i cannot find on the mysql website similar information.

thanks in advance
