Dear sirs

I've a stupid question for the whole world.

I've a hp laserjet printer 2300l, with an infrared port.

This port is only receiving data or is also allowed in transmission?

Because my (foolish) idea is to create an utility wich permit a
connection between printer and handy.

This in order to transmit (direction printer handy) some data or
synchronize agenda or what else...
