Default Help on Berkeley DB Database - 07-31-2003 , 10:44 PM

Hi all,

I have started using Berkeley DB and use it in a Hash mode. The
problem I
see quite often is when deleting a record using dbp->del command, I
get a
error which says

"Not owner"

Any ideas on where I need to look for? The delete succeeds sometimes
so it
is not a file permisison issue. I can also write to the database
just fine. I run this on Solaris 2.8 and use the latest version of
Berkeley DB. All of my activity is immediately sync'd to the disk.

I tried using DB_ENV->set_errfile to get more verbose error, but
nothing is returned to the file.

Any help would be really really appreciated as this is causing me
problems.

Sorry for posting on comp.databases. Google for some reason does not
allow me to post to comp.databases.berkeley-db
Thanks,

Ravin

Try posting your question to comp.databases.berkeley-db
Doesn't exist yet, as far as I can see; I remember there being
something of a CFV, but I don't recall it actually getting created...
