Default dbase111+ - 12-14-2006 , 06:36 PM

I know I'm very behind the times. I just bought a new HP computer with
Windows XP. My old computer was a Gateway with Windows 98. The old
computer let me start up in MSDOS and use dbase. My new computer does
not have a MSDOS prompt that I know how to get to. I hate to keep two
computers just to use dbase (which I love and I know I can't have it
anymore).

I was wondering if there is anyway I can get to the MSDOS prompt on my
new computer and use dbase or if I need to find a new database
software.

Is there any database software out there now that is similar to dbase?
Except for dbase, I'm not very database savvy.

Thank you for anything you have to input.

Does it run under a DOS window? (Accessories - Command Prompt)

Yes, Microsoft Visual FoxPro.

There have been other products out there, but I do not know their
status.
