I have also programmed in both VFP and VB for years. You will find VB much
easier to work with and yet quite familiar if you are used to VFP. There
are so many books on VB6 I am not sure what to recommend. Get a thick one
Given that you are used to VFP, I would just jump in. VB can be self taught
quite easily.
