In "Debugging Visual FoxPro Applications", p. 38, the section on
the trace window ends with "The option that I set here so that all my
Visual FoxPro sessions share it is the line number display."

That looks to be something of use, but how do I turn it on? I
see nothing for it in the debugger menu or the trace window
right-click menu. I do not see anything for it in VFP 6 either.

Hi,

You can turn on Line number in Trace by setting VFP Tools/Options/Debug.
Select Trace option and check 'Show current line indicator'. Save settings.
