Default VFP 9: LFs in Memos - 05-31-2010 , 04:24 PM

Dear Vixens and Reynards:

I am running into some odd behaviour with memos. If I edit a
memo using browse and paste in a multi-line addition, there are LFs in
the memo. If I use my app, LFs are inserted. I do not want them to
be there, but I do not want a surprise since I process the memo.

What is up with the LFs? When are they inserted and when not?

Sincerely,

Gene Wirchenko

Maybe have a look at EditBox.AddLineFeeds property in help.

OTOH, in Modify Memo Editor, context menu, properties, the checkbox for LF
handling is greyed out. So I'm not very sure about the handling of LF in memos.
