How do I install the VFP 9 runtime on a Windows 98 machine? With VFP 6, I could select to install just the runtime off the VFP 6 CD. It does not work this way with 9. I just installed VFP 9 (the whole works) and it started up fine, but I do not want the whole works up, just the runtime. I have the VFP 9 upgrade (in case that makes the answer different). After a lot of research and fooling around I discovered that you don't need to do any installs on the workstation. Just be sure that the correct files reside in the folder that the exe is running from. |
