Default VFP 9 compatibility with German Flagship xbase product - 08-15-2008 , 07:55 AM






Is there anyone who has some experience with moving from Flagship to
VFP 9 ? Your comments would be very welcome.

Looks like it's a lot like FPW to VFP conversion -- can be done -- best to
re-write tho.

Use hte existing code as "highly detailed pseudo code" for the VFP version.

I've made a living on xBase (dbaseII, dbaseIII, FPD/FPW/FoxPro, etc)
I think spending your time & energy to go to a different (with a future)
platform is a wiser choice.

re-write tho.
