Default VFP 7.0 weird problem - 02-26-2008 , 06:35 PM

Hello,

I installed VFP 7.0 on a XP pro machine. For some reason I cannot get
any tool bar to come up. I go into View / ToolBars and each and every
tool bar is unchecked. I check them - nothing. The check mark does
not stay in place. It is gone the next time I go to View / Toolbars

This is driving me nuts. Has anyone seen this behavior?

I have VFP 9.0 and also VFP 6.0 on the same machine. Would it have
anything to do with the multiple copies of VFP I am having?

Shah

It took time and a lot of search on Google to figure this out. I am
posting the solution here in case some one runs into the same problem.
The problem was with the Resource file Foxuser.dbf

1. Set 'Resource off'.
2. Find the path of the resource file from Tool/Option/File location.
3. Open the Resource file and delete all references to ID="TTOOLBAR".
4. Get out of VFP and come back in. Turn the resource on. and then it
worked.
