On most of the systems that my app runs on, small fonts are
selected. On one, the system is set to large fonts. This makes my
app look wrong, and I want to deal with this. It is not an option to
switch the lone system to small fonts as that has other unacceptable
side effects.

Is there a way to detect what the font size setting is? Is there
a way for my app to display correctly regardless of this setting?

I use fixed-width fonts throughout the app except for the menu.
Does this make any difference?
