Default VFP 6/9: Using the Adobe Acrobat SDK - 09-19-2006 , 02:52 PM

Hello:

Is there anyone (besides me) using the Adobe Acrobat SDK?

I have version 7.0.5. There sure is a lot of documentation. I
have, so far, only found hints of where in it I will find what I need.
If you have used it with VFP, you probably could help me find it
faster.

I want to be able to save PDF files according to a scheme we have
developed. (I find it more than faintly ridiculous that I had to get
the SDK to be able to do this.)

At present, my plan is to automate Acrobat Distiller. This would
require the least amount of recoding of reports. My reports were
written using set printer on et al, not the report writer.

I would appreciate any tips.

Sincerely,

Distiller seems to be the best way to go. West-wind has some code you can
probably get at (with the free download)to use it with VFP.
I myself use open source GhostScript to create PDFs with VFP.
