Default VFP 6.0 service packs - 05-12-2005 , 07:49 PM

Hello

I recently had to re-install VFP 6.0 from scratch on a new computer. I know
that VFP 6 was up to at least service pack 2, but I cant seem to find the
download on the microsoft site. (It's all about VFP 8.0 & VFP 9.0)

I dont want to upgrade to VFP 9 yet, just tweak some programs written in VFP
6

Does any-one know where I can download the latest service pack (2 or 3??)
for VFP 6.

Thankyou in advance.

Mark

Mark (Jack?),
You can upgrade to Service Pack 5 - it is still available for download (free!)
from MS at http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/do...es/sp/vs6/sp5/ .
This version not only gives you literally years of updates, but also some
additional features provided in SP3.

Don't forget to get the newer Security Patch at
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sec.../MS02-049.mspx - especially if
you don't have any newer versions of VFP installed (e.g. VFP 7, 8 or 9)

Thanks Rick,

I'll check it out and download them both.
