Is there any way or any product that will actually create a NICE
looking report to file? I do all my invoices to file and want to be
able to just attach the invoice to an email. The preview and print is
lovely, but the only reports to file are either ascii or excel which
is (a) really ugly and (b) way too much work to clean.

Thoughts?

Right now the two "best" ways are to ouput to a PDF file or to HTML. Unfortunately neither is currently possible "natively", but there are a number of third party solutions - including some free/shareware code available at the UT. Go to the UT at http://www.universalthread.com/VisualFoxPro/, click the Downloads picture and search on Reports.

Also, according to the Europa preview information last year, you should have more options in 9.0 - see Ken's letter from last November - http://msdn.microsoft.com/vfoxpro/letters/11132003/.
