Default import japanese text from excel to visual foxpro table - 02-25-2004 , 11:17 AM

hi to all fellow foxpro users,

i need to copy japanese characters from
excel to foxpro dbf. but when i transfer
data to foxpro, japanese characters
was change to ?????.

i think this has something to do with
the code page setting but i don't
know how to make the code page
setting to accept japanese characters.

can anyone help me how to do it
programatically, if you could provide
sample code will be highly appreciated.

ty,

ramonix

What do you mean by "transfer"? Copy and paste?
Export and import?
