Default Global(?) search & replace - 01-29-2004 , 12:25 PM

We have been using SBT Accounting Software since version 3. SBT tucks the
path to any number of files in lots of different places and these paths
include PRO30. What would be the most reliable way for us to replace the
path everywhere it's currently stored since we want to change what server
the software and data resides on anyway?

Jim,
In VFP 8.0, you could use the Code Reference tool to do a search in a project or directory (with or without sub-directories), and in earlier versions there are a number of utilities that can search directories or projects - GoFish comes to mind. (It's available with a number of others in the VFP Download area on the UT - http://www.universalthread.com/.)
