I am investigating the possiblility of converting and existing application form
FoxPro for DOS to Visual FoxPro. The main function of the application is to
FTP files to and from a PC (mainly IBM mainframe MVS and VM) and occassionally
Unix.

Any pointers to a free FTP class, program, application and examples on how to
use it would be appreicated.

Yes I tried google but it was not too helpful.

I tried Google, too, and when using search terms of 'ftp VFP' came up with
many pertinent hits.
Most of the ActiveX and dll versions are offered as shareware, so not
TOTALLY free.

If you want something totally free - see http://leafe.com/dls/vfp and do a
page search on 'ftp' - you'll find some things there that are useful.
