Default FPW 2.6 on Windows 98 - 02-21-2004 , 01:00 PM

Hi -

I have a Windows 98 SE machine. If I leave it on for a couple of days and then
try to load FPW 2.6, it will freeze and the only option I have is to hard boot
and start FPW before I start anything else.

Does anyone knows what is going on here and what the solution is?

Thanks in advance.

Shah

Shah,
I agree with Josh. Check on the "usual suspects" - virus checkers, screen savers, desktop apps (weather services, messaging, etc.). I've even seen some Access applications "eat up" all the memory that FPW needs. If you add memory does it go longer? If you subtract memory to does it go quicker? What MEMLIMIT settings are you using in the CONFIG.FPW?
