Default FoxPro index problems from Access? - 10-15-2003 , 04:33 PM

I have a customer who is using Access to create reports from FoxPro
tables. We started noticing problems when accessing our FoxPro tables.
The solution was to delete and rebuild the indexes, but it has gotten
to be a daily occurrence. I have not yet been able to look at these
Access reports or actually determine if Access is the problem. Based
on this information, and I realize it is not a lot, has anyone seen a
problem like this or offer any suggestions. Any comments will be
greatly appreciated. Thanks.

make sure the access system is opening the tables either thru odbc or in
readonly mode -- if the access system updates the tables, the indexes will
likely not be updated as well.

You can also use vfpoldb.dll
