Default FoxBASE+ 2.10 doc search - 10-12-2003 , 12:42 PM

I am trying to help out with an ancient (10+ years) computer system
that has software created in FoxBASE+ 2.10 (DOS). They are having a
problem with a particular program and I can't seem to determine what is
causing it.

I am looking for resources (printed|on-line) that can provide me with
documentation of the commands available and their proper use.

Any pointers appreciated.

A lot more information will need to be provided before much help can be supplied. What code isn't working? What OS are you running this under? (e.g. DOS, Win3.x, Win 9x, NT/2000/XP) How much memory? What changed? (The system, the OS, hardware devices, data, file server, etc.)

As far as I know there are no online sources of documentation - if you have a legitamate copy they should have the original manuals. Fox Software "merged" with Microsoft many years ago.

Any good reference for dBase III will have most of what you need. (Indeed,
the FoxBase manual referenced the dBase manuals.)

Every command that existed in the language back then still exists today
although probably with many more optional parameters.

If you can give us some idea what's failing, some of us old farts may
remember how to get around the problem.

If it's like the Mac version typing HELP at a command prompt will give
you the help index, describing all the commands and what they do.
