Default Fox BASE+ 2.1.2 for SCO - 06-03-2004 , 08:34 AM

I am looking for information about Fox BASE+ 2.1.2 for SCO Unix

Tarantoga,
This product was produced by Fox Software in 1987. Fox Software was "merged" with Microsoft in June of 1992. For more "history", go to http://www.foxprohistory.org/foxprotimeline.htm.

Go to http://www.emsps.com/oldtools/msfoxv.htm for product availability or check on eBay.

What you exactly need?

To transfer data from DBF datafiles, or
something to write in Fox ?

IHAC who is using some FoxBase+/SCO applications and cannot port them
to another platform. I have to propose him a storage for those
databases.
From his statements (I contact him remotely) I understand that this
FoxBase is typical client-server solution (i.e. database engine is
located on the server). My current investigation leads to dBase II
derivatives that AFAIK are client based (i.e. clients are sharing
files but process them locally). From storage point of view it makes
difference: client-server databases not always accept NAS storage
while client databases use NAS by design. NAS storage would be best
fit for him but I have to be sure if it works.

Best regards,

Tarantoga
