Default FB+: Anyone have FB+Migrate.APP - 08-03-2005 , 03:21 PM

I'm trying to get our company (with hunderds of programs still running
on FoxBase+ for the Mac and still developing) to cross the line and
develop on Windows. The manual for FoxPro 2.6a says something about
running FB+Migrate.APP but I can't find the program anywhere. Does
anyone know where I can find this?

Yo Nitrogen -
ya - it should be on your Floppy Disk Sets for FP/W or FP/D 2.6a -
do you have this set of floppies ? If not, I strongly suggest you engage Ed
Leafe on at least a 1 day consult - see www.leafe.com for more info.

if you want to keep it on the Mac I strongly suggest you look at Dabo,
written
by 2 VFP developers - see www.dabodev.com for more info .

hth - mondo regards [Bill]

Search engines help alot. Especially the newsgroup searches.

Maybe your answer is already there.

Nope, not having any luck. I dont know, maybe we'll just run Basilisk
or Softmac and ween them off the Mac. I really would like to try this
tool though, if I can find it.

Thanks for your reply. I actually did search the newsgroups and the
web. I went through every link Google came up with for searches such
as ``"index of" FoxBase`` ``"index of" FoxPro`` ``convert FoxBase
FoxPro`` etc. I'm not kidding when I say I sifted through every link,
I actually found out that when Google claims 4,195 results sometimes
there really are only 2,900. I did a little newsgroup searching too
before deciding to post my own, but I went through your search too
(just in case) and read all of the relevant articles, but still I've
gotten no real help. If I have to sift through thousands of lines of
incompatible flagged code that's better than sifting through thousands
of links. I figure my only hope now is that some kind person with FPW
2.6 disks can somehow hook me up with this ancient tool. It's rumored
to be found in the GOODIES folder.
