Thanks for the reply. I have 2.6 running on a Windows 2000 machine with the
speed patch with no problem. But I suspect that 2000 shares the legacy
compatibility stuff that XP has which would allow 2.6 to install. I'll try
the restored back up idea.
Thanks again Rick.

Tom,
Unfortunately I believe the FPW installer has the same "High Speed CPU"
problem as FPW itself. You'll either need to install it on a "slow" machine
(definitely lass than 350mHz), or simply restore a backed up copy of FPW
from another machine. Don't forget, you'll need to install the real High
Speed CPU patch, or FPW itself and it's runtimes won't work either!

I'm trying to reinstall FP 2.6 for Windows on a Windows 98 machine and I
get
a 'dshell' error and a general protection fault and then a shutdown.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
