While some of the details can depend on the ODBC driver you are using, you may want to start with the code in "HOWTO: Creating a Connection to SQL Server Without a Datasource" - http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;155392. Make sure you are running VFP 6.0 SP 5.
